Yes I sure do plan to be vaccinated and can't wait. My daughters are front line health care workers and have already been vaccinated. The respiratory therapist got hers on the 3rd day it was available, and the occupational therapist was this week. Since our small city mandated masks a month ago, our county numbers have dropped from 890+ active cases to 97 active cases yesterday. Amazing and hopefully folks will keep wearing those masks.
As a teacher, I will definitely get the vaccine. Even my mom doesn't understand why teachers aren't higher on the priority list. I work in a building with about 2,500 people!
I do. Both Dave and I have vulnerable people we are close to. It's looking like we won't be able to until the summer, according to our governments projections, but that's ok. We'll do it when we can to do our part.
Of course. Some everyday people have gotten the shot just for being in the right place at the right time. When people don’t show up for appts and it’s close to closing time pharmacists have been walking through the stores looking for willing arms.

Yup! Some of my co-workers have already gotten it - considered "front line" health care workers.

ReplyDeleteOh yes. As soon as we can.
ReplyDeleteYep. I am scared to death because I have allergy issues but since Covid is worse it's a risk worth taking.
ReplyDeleteYes, absolutely. You know my heart issues. I'm looking forward to the vaccine as soon as it's available to me.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Betsy
Yes, I am going to take my epi pen along!
ReplyDeleteI'm hoping my test for Covid comes back positive so I won't need the vaccine!
ReplyDeleteBoth of us are looking forward to being vaccinated! Happy New Year, Nancy! Thanks for the great cartoons.
