Under My Needle - Friendship Stars

friendship stars and sashing
December 2020

Another Quilt of Valor is in the works, using a "new" Villa Rose pattern that I like. The fabric is cut, the stars are made and sashed, and the panel has been trimmed to size. I've been working on this project during the weekly FaceTime calls with my sister, Marilyn, and two nieces, Brenda and Becky.

  1. Looking forward to seeing the result. And I envy you those FaceTime calls. I wish a couple of my friends were willing to give Zoom another try because I miss seeing them.

  2. This is a great little star and a quilters favorite! I like the way you get so much done while chatting with your family quilters!

  3. It must be fun to work along with others. My WIFI is terrible so I've stopped trying to Zoom with friends. I was always frozen and it was annoying. I like listening in while they chatted but it wasn't much fun when I wanted to chime in. I sure miss my ladies lunches.
