Is Bigger Better?

large reindeer yard decoration
near Parker, CO
December 2020

Seriously, I don't understand why anyone would want a huge reindeer in their front yard, especially one that can be seen directly out of a second story window!

  1. How in the world do they set it up? Store it? Crazy but cool!

  2. I bet they have to tie it down so it doesn't blow away...

  3. Looks kind of silly to me. I enjoy seeing lights and candles in windows, but I don't like those blow up things people put in their yards. UGLY in my opinion.

  4. Wow! That is huge! I was also thinking it probably needs to be tied down.

  5. Wow I wonder why and what it is made of...must be wood:)

  6. That is a little large...
We have very tiny, narrow front yards (maybe 10 feet wide), and one of our neighbours has a giant light up polar bear AND Santa... one would have looked nice. Two is just too much. Some people have no sense of scale!

  7. Whoa....that would scare me.

  8. I agree with Vera...I'm not a "blow-up" fan.
I can go along with "Delighted Hands"...crazy but cool.
I've always wanted one of those light up deer ornaments for my yard but am afraid that the rednecks around here would shoot it.

  9. Oh my! Where in the world is that stored? And how do they set it up? I love decorations but I think that's a big over the top.

  11. Goodness gracious that's huge!!! And where would you store it for the rest of the year? Incredible, not for me, but fun to see.

  12. I really enjoy Christmas decorations, no matter how silly.
Regarding a previous post: My MIL has a huge collection of Christmas Village stuff. She can cover every surface in her living room, dining room and family room. When we walk into her house for Christmas (not this year, obviously), my husband always whispers to me: "Someday this will all be yours." Of course, with me being Jewish, he knows I don't want it. He just like that!

  13. Me either! I have a hard time with bunches of blow up decorations sometimes.
