Latest Technology?

I remember "helping" my Mom hang clothes to dry: I handed her the clothes pins. I'm sure she could have done the work in half the time. In the winter, her hands would turn red from the wet clothes and the cold weather. Jeans, on the clothesline, would freeze in the winter and could stand on their own when brought into the house to thaw. I miss having a clothesline and the smell of sun-dried sheets.

Sounds Like a Plan

Kathyb and Dee - don't you dare tell your fireman husbands my plan!   Well, I might do some knitting . . . Feel free to change "knitting" to reading, sewing, quilting, etc.  to make this your plan, too.

The First Sighting . . .

Image
I haven't seen any robins yet in the area around my apartment, but a pair of doves have been trying to build a nest on the top of the patio light. I don't think they will succeed, but at least they get an A for effort. A couple of weeks ago, one of my neighbors had five deer outside her building, nibbling on the shrubs. A resident rabbit and squirrel family have been scurrying around the various trees, and a pair of crows have appeared by the hedge, but no robins.

Twelve Days of Christmas

from Facebook (click image to enlarge) If you could choose only one day, which one would it be? I'd choose the first day - one long arm quilter.
