Liberty Bound was finished last Monday (Patriot's Day.) The piano key border surrounding the center panel were scraps from a previous Quilt of Valor that I discovered when I was packing.
I discovered that the garage door makes a nice place to hang quilts so I can snap a photo.

That border is a perfect fit and the garage door makes a great background.
ReplyDeleteThat is a really pretty panel and you set it off just right with that border. Good job!
ReplyDeleteWOw Great idea Nancy to hang them with those hangers there!

ReplyDeleteYay! You’re back making quilts. I love that border and using the garage door as a backdrop was brilliant! Blessings, Betsy
ReplyDeleteLovely! I like the idea of using pant hangers to hang it... I just put a bunch in a pile to go out to trash... I guess I better go dig them out!
ReplyDeleteThat border sure is a lot of piecing. It looks beautiful!
ReplyDeleteVery nice! :)
ReplyDeleteThat border is perfect!!!
ReplyDeleteThis quilt is so striking-just a beauty. I love the auditioning stage---I will try it in future, if you don't mind!
ReplyDeleteLovely quilt. Great hanging idea. I'll have to check my door out to see if that would work for me. Thanks for the hint.
