Stash Reduction
thirty-one pillowcases August 2017 |
The cases are laundered and pressed and ready to be donated. Some will be donated to the local hospice home; the rest, as presentation cases for Quilts of Valor.
Marilyn, thank you for much of the fabric for these cases. Since each case uses a yard of fabric, the fabric stash is now 31 yards lighter.
Surely a noticeable dent has been made in your stash after that! I think pillowcases are such a nice way of adding a little extra cheer to the gift of a QOV or to a hospice room.
ReplyDeleteSuch pretty cases. And, great stash reduction!!
ReplyDeleteWow! That stash reduction really added up!
ReplyDeleteThe pillowcases look beautiful!
Beautiful pillowcases and such wonderful places to donate them to. That's a lot of yardage to have used up.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Betsy
You inspire me! I have 5 pillowcase kits and the fabric for about 5 more all sorted out in my sewing room and can't seem to get enough ambition to make them.
ReplyDeleteWhat a pretty photo. I never tire of looking at fabric.

ReplyDeleteI would love to donate some of these but need help with the sewing pattern. Perhaps, I will see you at the knitting group on Monday.
ReplyDeleteGreat job. Thanks for reminding me I have at least one, if not more, pillowcases kitted up. I may make a few up to use up more fabric.
