Last week, I finished the second Silver Lining Hat, made with scrap sock yarn. This one was knit according to the pattern, but with sock yarn instead of lace weight.
The pattern is free online; although, it can also be purchased on Ravelry..

I still need/want to make one of these. I think this would be great potato chip knitting! Love the colors in your most recent one Nancy.

ReplyDeleteThat looks great and soft. (Is it soft?) Thanks for the pattern location. I've saved it but we just don't seem to stay cold enough to need such a warm hat. But I like the idea of using leftover sock yarn. Instead of hats I'm crocheting doll scarves with some leftover yarn. Unfortunately nothing bright and sparkly which I know the grands love.
