A11 - clue 5
clue 5 completed November 2020 |
Clue 5 was released on November 12th, and I finished it during Sunday's FaceTime call. In clue 5, the blocks were sewn together in rows. For the photo, I used the sashing units that were completed in clue 4 where I think they will be placed, but I could be wrong. There is another row of blocks and two sashing strips that would not fit on the wall.
Interesting....
ReplyDeleteThis looks great. Did you use yardage or scraps. I’ve kept all the instructions. I may want to use it for a quilt in the future. I couldn’t find the right amount of fabric as I seldom buy 2 yd or bigger pieces. It’s not like I don’t have a lot of fabric pulls with fabric hanging around!
ReplyDeleteI like the way you placed the sashing. It makes the pattern flow.
ReplyDeleteI like how you placed the sashing too and those stars are wonderful!
ReplyDeleteI like the simplicity of this one, and the chain of squares. I was expecting "X" placement of the square but I like the diagonal chain.
ReplyDeleteThat's it - I really have to make one of those stars!
ReplyDeleteI like it too and I'm guessing you are right about your sashing placement! It looks "right" there.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Betsy

ReplyDeleteNice quilt!
ReplyDeleteNice job on this so far--I think you have had a diagonal tendency lately! (maybe it is the wind you've been hit with recently! lol)
ReplyDeleteLooks great. I’m excited to see it finished.
