Scrappy Ritzy Crackers

Scrappy Ritzy Crackers
56 x 63 inches
Prayers and Squares Quilt
The blocks for this quilt were finished in late June but weren't sewn together until last week. It was made with a mixture of 5 inch square from the Prayers and Squares group and my own scrap bins.

If you look closely, you'll see some interesting fabric: an old, red pickup, bowlers, rodeo cowboys, daffodils, flags, and even shamrocks.

  3. I love it - and it reminds me that I haven't put mine together yet from the family reunion.

  4. Nancy, this is such a fun quilt. All of the colors and patterns make it "happy"! And to think that some would have thrown our those orphan blocks as unusable scraps. You've made them into a work of art. :-)
    Blessings,

  5. Pretty! I don't know why but my brain wanted to think about when we used to make a faux apple pie with Ritz crackers from a recipe they had on the box. I bet I'm the only one who remembers doing that. I do recall when I tried it that it was surprisingly good.
