Early June, I returned to Fremont County for a short visit and stopped on Beaver Rim for a panoramic view of the Wind River Range. I definitely miss these mountains.
Oh, wow.....the one thing I miss about living around here is distance. When we travel up to Michigan to see Son I am amazed at how far you can see once you get to Ohio.
Just give me a chicken coop and a porch and plant me right smack dab in the middle of that shot...maybe just a little closer to the mountains. Then you could come visit. ;)
I have always liked the Wind River Range too. They remind me of the Cascades up here in Washington. I think, no I KNOW, that's what both Dennis and I will miss the most if we move home to the midwest. Our mountains. They call to us. Blessings, Betsy

ReplyDeleteWe sure don't have "real" mountains like that in Virginia. Has the weather gone back to a more "normal" summer temp?
