What's on Your List?

  1. Oh how I wish! My back keeps me from doing so many things I want to do. I keep searching for a fix. Blessings, Betsy

  2. Ahh the list. I try to manage my expectations and/or to categorize them, professional, familial, recreational, health, etc. I'm a little nutty.

Right now, eye on the prize. Gift knitting. :)

  3. I've always wanted to plant spring bulbs in the fall and today I actually planted some daffodil bulbs. I've got lots more but I ran out of steam. Who knew it was such hard work?

  4. This was such a thought provoking post. Life is too short. My bucket list differs greatly from my husband's, so I'm not sure how retirement is going to look eventually. If, and when, he ever retires that is! But I'm going to a cruise with girlfriends in January. The gals have talked about this for years, and since one has had a year of life changing illness, we all decided that life was too short to keep talking. So we're DOING it!

  5. Isn't that the truth? I 'd like to see Yellowstone with my grown kids and Husband. So that's one thing!

  6. I'm better at doing things not on the list, I think.

  7. Do them while you are bodily able, too! Nancy, I fell in Jan. & was away from home in hospital & rehab for nearly 3 months. Haven't felt like reading blogs every day but I decided to catch up with yours. I was excited to see your new place & that you have already integrated yourself into your community. I was looking at your knitting & your friend's T-shirt rug. I know you don't crochet, but I saw a blog with crocheted plastic grocery bags made into sleeping mats for the homeless. They fold up & have a tie to hold them together. I never thought about grocery bags being used that way. Love to you!

  8. Hum, I may have to figure out what I still want to do... we travel a bit, we enjoy the family, we have our hobbies, we have pretty good health and we can afford our lives. I'd say I'm well blessed and don't have any big things I want to do. But, you never know what I might want to do in a few weeks, months or years! Great reminder though.

  9. I still want to travel to Europe once-Ireland or Italy or Scotland and the Isles....
Other than that, I have done most of the things on my 'list' so I need to add more!
