Beautiful! My son saw the Anthony Bourdain episode on Japan and right away signed up to teach English there for a year. He loved it. Thankfully he came home right before the tsunami or I wouldn't have survived it. Of course then he went to work at the Navy Yard just in time for the mass shooting incident. It's no wonder I have all this gray hair.
ReplyDeleteAlex took us to see and listen to traditional Koto performances in Tokyo the last time we visited. It was beautiful and haunting at the same time.
