Many of these gentle giants (grain elevators) are disappearing from the rural American landscape. While on a morning walk, I was delighted to find this one next to the railroad tracks in Oshkosh.

    That's a great shot! I love grain elevators and remember the smell of sweet grain when passing them.

    There was one where my Grandmother lived in Montana. Have no idea if it is still there.
