Orphans in the Mail

Karen M. contacted me a couple of weeks ago to ask if I would accept some orphan blocks she rescued from a sale in her community, and a few days later, these two blocks arrived in the mail. I've been looking for a block project, and this design will be perfect.
You might remember that Karen sent a beautiful orphan star several months ago that became QOV #207 which was recently awarded to a veteran.
How wonderful and what a interesting pattern.
