Little Progress

one block for Oh, Deer!
Work on the next Quilt of Valor (Oh, Deer!) has been stalled by life -- appointments, commitments, knitting night, and even a baby shower. The star blocks are finished, but they have not been sewn into a flimsy.

  1. Sometimes you just have to do what you have to do....
The blocks will wait for you!

  2. That will be a very pretty quilt! Life can get very busy, that's for sure. Nice that you have a knitting night to attend.

  4. Life does get in the way some days. But you'll get these done in due time. These remind me that I should look at some of panels I have tucked away and see if any contain square sections that would work as stars.

  5. But those are all good things and the quilt will be done eventually. I do like that block and I think it will be beautiful. Many blessings, Betsy

  6. With all the blocks completed, you are not too far away from the finish line at all.
I have some of that blue fabric and used the last of it as the backing of a small wall hanging which I hand quilted last year.

  8. I LOVE a baby shower. Sometimes I knit for the baby, sometimes I give diapers. My mom always gave diapers because she knew how expensive they were!

  9. This is going to be fun to see it come together. I'm feeling your busy life style this week Nancy. I am going to be in the weeds. Is it so wrong to look forward to next Monday when it's Monday?
