sock knitting February 2019 |
Even though it's been months since I've knit a pair of socks, I've discovered it's like riding a bike: it's a skill that the body remembers without too much effort. The last pair(s) of socks I knit were
completed in July. Yikes, that's SEVEN months without knitting a pair of socks!
I just finished the sixth row of the gusset, so I will soon be cruising through the foot section. Knitting notes can be found
here.
Do you have any idea how many pairs of socks you have knitted? You always do a fantastic job.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful socks. I agree that both knitting and crocheting are something that you just don’t forget once you know it. Blessings, Betsy
ReplyDeleteThat's a very pretty yarn you're using!
ReplyDeleteNice to see socks on your needles again. Very pretty yarn. Have fun knitting them!
ReplyDeleteI have a couple of pairs of hand knit socks that my cousin has gifted me. They are very warm. These will be very pretty based on the hints of color we can see.
ReplyDeleteI don't think I could go that long without knitting socks!
ReplyDeleteYour photographs are always so lovely! Fun sock!
ReplyDeleteWheeee Im sure I'll get back to socks soon. Right now Im all baby gifts
ReplyDeleteIt's like coming home after a long trip! (or like finding your new home is really feeling like home after 7 months!)
ReplyDeleteWell I am not so sure about that, it probably is for seasoned knitters! I make notes!! :)
ReplyDeleteI think the sheer quantity of socks you've knit probably helps that body memory. Me, eh, not so much!
