Back in Time - Sisters

Marilyn & Evelyn
(sisters)
approximately 1948 or 1949

I love my sisters' silhouettes on the car in this old photo. If the photo was taken in 1948, Marilyn would have been three years old, and Evelyn (Sis) would have been seven years old.

Don't you love the matching posing stances and their outfits - right down to the shoes and anklets.

  8. Great photo!
My mother used to dress the three of us alike all the time. We used to pretend we were triplets but the truth is we were way apart and years and looked nothing alike. In our heads though we were identical.

  10. I am really glad you pointed out the shadows. Yes, the matching clothes were such a THING then. We have some images of me and 2 sisters all wearing matching dresses.
