Back in Time - Michigan Trip

Bronner's CHRISTmas Wonderland
Frankenmuth, MI
I can't remember if I've posted this photo before, so forgive me if you've seen it. It was taken the summer that my sisters, niece, and I travelled to Michigan's Upper Peninsula and Mackinac Island. We stopped in Frankenmuth, MI to visit the famous Christmas store - Bronner's. If you are searching for anything pertaining to Christmas, I am willing to bet they will have it.

  1. Fun photo - love the sleigh and the flying deer. I bet that was a fun place to go. And...I've wanted to go to Mackinac Island for some time.

  2. I'm guessing that was a fun trip. I took my cousin to the UP to register for college (decades ago), but we were silly kids who didn't have the sense or the money to stop and see any of the interesting places.

  3. My son lives in Michigan now and I would love to explore the state one day. He's getting married there in May so maybe then....

  5. I've read about that store! I'll bet it's a bit of visual overload in there with all those shiny baubles.

  6. What a nice trip together--did you buy a souvenir from there that you still have for Christmas time?

  7. Cute photo Nancy!! I wondered where you were in short sleeves. Now it makes Sense....Summer in the UP. I think you suggested this store when I was searching for something very Christmas specific once.

  8. I just love the UP. If it wasn't so remote, I think I'd retire there.
