Colorful Colorado

Wolf Creek Pass
Colorado
October 2017
I joined my sister and brother-in-law last week on a road trip through southern Colorado. In some areas the Aspen were at peak color, and the vistas were breath-taking.

  1. Beautiful! Any snow? My brother in Boulder had snow on Monday. Still warm (and rainy) where we are camping in SE Ohio.

  2. So pretty!

I want to visit there again soon. We have friends in Denver who have invited us, so someday. Though the only other time I was there, I was sick most of the time from altitude sickness. Now that I know what it is though, I'm hoping I can avoid it.

  3. Beautiful!

We leave tomorrow morning to hopefully catch some beautiful fall color (and find a house). :-)

  5. Beautiful photos. My father was just driving through visiting family last week. He's in Chicago now.

  6. You westerners have such gorgeous views. I love Wisconsin, but it lacks the drama of the West!

  7. Lovely photos - thanks for sharing. You may or may not know this, but our native trees here in New Zealand do not change to fall colours in Autumn, they are evergreens. So our hills do not have the striking colours as yours do. Only the exotic trees from overseas add a touch of colour to the season.
