Sit Back and Relax

my view from the dental chair
December 2016
Last week, I had a 44 year old crown removed from a molar because some decay had worked its way under the aging crown. While waiting for the assistant to prepare the temporary crown, I enjoyed the view.

I've spent more than my share of time in a dentist's chair over the years and can honestly say that is the best view I've ever had.

The outside of the building can be seen in this post.

p.s. - The dentists in this office are fabulous, too.

  1. Beautiful! The most painful part of a crown is the COST!

  2. Ouch! But you are correct - a great view from a dentist chair (one of my least favorite chairs of course).

  3. That view is VERY relaxing. It should be a requirement of ALL dentists to have a few like that. LOL

  4. I never would have guessed that photo was taken from a dentist's chair. If you have to be sitting there, might as well have a view like that one!

  5. That is a nice view. I am so freaked out by dentists that I probably wouldn't have even noticed.

  6. Well, indeed that is a pretty view and a pretty building too.

  7. What a great view! Crowns are so expensive...but if it lasted 44 years you are lucky. :)

  9. It sounds like we might be echoing each other's life. I have been "watching" a cavity recently trying to really avoid doing anything about it because it will be a crown. Sigh. Crummy teeth. But I'd rather have teeth to enjoy the nuts of the world!

  10. WOW! I have a wonderful dentist, but that is not a view I see from his chair. That is beautiful and relaxing too.

  12. I'm so glad you like your dentist and you got your crown temporarily taken care of in the presence of such a great view. The crossed legs definitely imply some relaxed vibes, hehe.
