Two masked critters (prairie dogs) were added to the COVID-19 mural recently.
Wyoming has seen a large increase of positive COVID-19 cases, so I wish more people would follow the example of the animals on this mural.
Governor Gordon urges Wyomingites to wear masks through the use of these two graphics:
I have mixed feelings about these pictures, positive and negative.

ReplyDeleteI don't get it. I think the masks look so cool. You can have a lot of fun with them and save lives. They are mandatory here and our numbers have fallen sharply. Araignee
Such a clever mural addition! Love it. I wish our governor would urge people to wear masks. She has never been seen in public wearing one herself - just like her idol. But she does caution people in SD to be "safe" - all while scheduling the big fireworks show at Mt Rushmore for the president to attend. About 8,000 people packed into the viewing area and in drought conditions too!! The newspapers claim most of the tickets requested went to folks from California and Colorado. Yikes!!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE LOVE LOVE Them. A good cowboy always protects the herd. Why dont people understand herd mentalttity? I just HEARD the if not enough people elect to get the vaccine, we wont reach herd immunity. But at least those who get the vaccine will be protecing themselves and someothers.

ReplyDeleteCheck our the death rate in your state-I know for us there are more cases of C-19 but fewer deaths so that is the silver lining on this storm cloud!
I like the prairie dogs. Virginia requires masks when out and about. We mask up before we get out of our car. Over the next few weeks I’ll be making some more. We have seen pretty good masking up and then mostly not masked. It isn’t that hard folks. Protect the herd!
ReplyDeletePeople are pretty good with the masks around here. But my observation is limited to grocery store and our neighborhood. It's the younger crowd that thinks that they are invincible..
