Trekking Socks
women's size 10 June 2020 |
I didn't try very hard to match the stripes because I ran into a knot mid-way through the cuff on the second sock and knew at that point that it would be futile to try, especially since I found another knot while knitting the foot of the second sock.
I've never found knots in Trekking before, so I'm sure this skein was given to me by a yarn sales representative. The samples are often "seconds."
That is a nice soft color and I didn't even notice that the stripes didn't match.
ReplyDeleteLove these colors:)
ReplyDeleteVery pretty!!! I hate finding knots in yarn. There should be a law.
ReplyDeleteLovely!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful yarn! Love seeing your fantastic work.
ReplyDeleteKnots in yarn are so annoying, but gosh that's pretty yarn you used. I really like Trekking and I don't think I've ever found knots in it. Love the pop of orange (or maybe cantaloup??) in the yarn.
ReplyDeleteThose are such pretty socks. I'm sorry about the knots but unless you look at the toes they look like that match just fine. And toes are inside shoes so no one will ever know! :-)
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Betsy
Very attractive yarn/socks. I get frustrated when I find knots. Do you just use it as a join or do you a special join?
ReplyDeleteAnother wonderful pair of gorgeous wooly socks!
ReplyDeleteThat drives me nuts. BUT, I love how yours turned out and couldn't have guessed it
ReplyDeleteThe socks are beautiful-great colorway-even if the knots make us fit to be tied! lol
ReplyDeleteOh no I hate knots! Your socks still look good! :)
