Still Chatting
Still Chatting 61 x 75 inches Quilt of Valor #184 June 2020 |
Still Chatting is a twin to FaceTime Chats that was finished a couple of weeks ago from 2.5 inch scraps.
Can you believe that I still have 5 sixteen-patch blocks remaining? They went into the orphan bin for a future project.
Currently, I'm slightly ahead of my goal to make two QOV each month this year. This quilt and the American Symbols QOV have been sent to Idaho for quilting and for awarding.
That is just stunning!!!
ReplyDeleteVery, very pretty!!
ReplyDeleteThat is just totally awesome! I love...may I make one too??
ReplyDeleteYou amaze me!! Another beautiful quilt. I think it's the grey in these that makes them so special.
ReplyDeleteYes the grey makes the design pop and shows off the colored squares! LOvely quilt!
ReplyDeleteYour dedication to making quilts for our veterans amazes me. You are so prolific too. This one is stunning and so much sewing. Gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Betsy
That is beautiful Nancy! My son and his family were just here from Texas and he asked if I would make him a quilt that represented his unit when he was in the Army. I can't wait to get started on it.
ReplyDeleteP.S. I have a new blog come and check it out.
Oh, how I enjoy seeing your work! Bless your pea-pickin' heart for making these. :) Tennessee Ernie Ford
ReplyDeleteThat is gorgeous. And you give them away!
ReplyDeleteIf I ever make a quilt that big, I will definitely pay someone else to quilt it. That is a whole different skill set.
#184.....you are amazing Nancy
ReplyDeleteWow Nancy -- this looks really good. I like your use of the gray in the quilt -- it really seems to accent the 16 patches. Double Wow -- I don't think I realized you were working on two QOV quilts a month. Great job.
ReplyDeleteThis one is really a great color combination--unusual but it sure works! Great job and good for you to be ahead of such an ambitious goal!
