Still Chatting

Still Chatting
61 x 75 inches
Quilt of Valor #184
June 2020

Still Chatting is a twin to FaceTime Chats that was finished a couple of weeks ago from 2.5 inch scraps.

Can you believe that I still have 5 sixteen-patch blocks remaining? They went into the orphan bin for a future project.

Currently, I'm slightly ahead of my goal to make two QOV each month this year. This quilt and the American Symbols QOV have been sent to Idaho for quilting and for awarding.

  3. You amaze me!! Another beautiful quilt. I think it's the grey in these that makes them so special.

  4. Yes the grey makes the design pop and shows off the colored squares! LOvely quilt!

  6. That is beautiful Nancy! My son and his family were just here from Texas and he asked if I would make him a quilt that represented his unit when he was in the Army. I can't wait to get started on it.
P.S. I have a new blog come and check it out.

  8. That is gorgeous. And you give them away!
If I ever make a quilt that big, I will definitely pay someone else to quilt it. That is a whole different skill set.

  10. Wow Nancy -- this looks really good. I like your use of the gray in the quilt -- it really seems to accent the 16 patches. Double Wow -- I don't think I realized you were working on two QOV quilts a month. Great job.
