COVID-19 Mural

The new mural in town reflects the COVID-19 pandemic with wildlife wearing masks to maintain social distancing.  The Boomerang, the local newspaper, reported that this mural was painted on a Free Wall meaning it was not commissioned and can be changed or added to at any time. Over the course of a week, more animals were added.

By the time, I went out to photograph the mural, it contained four animals, each wearing a mask.

Did you notice the small animal at the bottom?

I don't know if more animals will be added to this mural or if the wall will be covered with something entirely different the next time I see it.

  1. What a great mural!! Love the jackrabbit. Reminds me of the moose that Dee sees in someone's yard.

  3. How appropriate. That's a perfect example of what's happening right now. Are masks required in Laramie?

  6. How cool is that? I love all the little animals that have been added. Can you tell if these are done in acrylics? oil? what else would be permanent? How fun to have something like this in your community.
