I'm not one to purchase bright-colored yarn, so I think this skein was given to me. I do love how cheerful these socks are, and I know I'll enjoy wearing them. The socks were knit with Opal sock yarn, and the color way is Sweetie Rainforest.
They are beautiful. Both pair of hand knit socks that I have are too thick to be comfortable in my shoes. But I wear them around the house a lot to keep my feet warm.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE them! They will make for some happy feet on a cold winter morning.
ReplyDeleteThose are happy socks! I just adore the socks you sent me...they make me smile and I think of you every time I open my sock drawer...or look at them on my feet! ;)
ReplyDeleteGreat socks! Opal has some fantastic colours!
ReplyDeleteGreat job!!!! :)
ReplyDeleteThose are wonderful socks. Perfect for fall, Christmas and Valentines! Actually, perfect for anytime. Opal makes some great yarn.

ReplyDeleteI love Opal yarn and this pair of socks is just so nice Nancy! They remind me of a little campfire...or cherry pie...or Christmas and Valentine's Day all in one. They will put a smile on your face when you put them on your feet!
ReplyDeleteSO happy you are keeping them for yOU!
ReplyDeleteYour wonderful new socks look so nice and cozy!
ReplyDeleteOpal makes some lovely stripes, don't they? I haven't seen that particular colorway. It's so cheerful!
ReplyDeleteBright sounds good to me now. I have some Opal. It's very nice yarn. This winter I even wore some of my wool socks.
ReplyDeleteLove them!
