Scraps! What Scraps?

December 2019
The scrap sock yarn bin is EMPTY. One of my 2019 goals has been accomplished nearly two weeks before the end of the year.

This year, I was able to knit seven (7) Sockhead Cowls from the small balls of scrap sock yarn. Vera, thank you for telling me about this wonderful pattern.

  4. Now this has been an incredible accomplishment! My sock yarn scrap basket is still very full after 2 sock blankets, numerous newborn hats and mittens! (Maybe I need to stop buying new sock yarn? No way! lol)

  5. Wow.....I am so impressed! I am going to have to rent a storage unit if I don't figure out what to do with all these scraps I have piling up in the stash. Lol...

  6. Wow! Great accomplishment Nancy and that cowl is so pretty with the pops of color. I'm trying to figure out a way to get MORE small balls of sock yarn because I would like to make a big cozy memories blanket and I don't knit enough socks to collect the different colors I need. To buy mini's is so expensive.
Anyway, I'm so happy you reached your goal my friend.
    Blessings,
    Betsy
