ceramic nativity set made by Brenda M (my niece) in 1977 |
This is one of the first Christmas decorations set out each year. I found the display box a few years ago. I love how the mirror reflects those gathered in front of the manger and how the star on the door shines down on them all.
Absolutely perfect and how talented your niece is.
ReplyDeleteThat is a beautiful Nativity Set. Have a beautiful Christmas Nancy!
ReplyDeleteWhat a treasure! Just beautiful!
ReplyDeleteHow lovely!
ReplyDeleteI really love how that mirrored display box makes this look extra special. My ceramic nativity scene is fairly large and has a wooden stable. The pieces were all made by a dear family friend and also have this pearl-like glaze, and her husband built the stable to go with it.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful way to display!
ReplyDeleteIt's perfect and I love that we have the SAME nativity. However, yours makes me wish I had painted mine in the pearlessence instead of colors. Gorgeous! And the display box is the perfect setting for the nativity pieces.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Betsy
So stunning, what a clever girl your niece is! The set looks so lovely in front of the mirror box.
