Binding Blitz

trimming excess batting and backing
Last Wednesday, Cheryl B. from Elk Mountain, WY delivered three QOV that she quilted. On Thursday, I trimmed off the excess batting and backing, and sewed on labels and the binding.

I'm happy to have three finished quilts to send to Riverton for the November QOV presentation. Three more veterans will be awarded a QOV, and that makes me very happy.

  3. That is really awesome. I've been asked to share about our new QOV group with 2 organizations in November. One is the local senior community center's Veteran's Day luncheon and program.

  6. Good on you for your work and dedication to this project. Are these your own quilts coming back, or will you be binding another quilters quilt?

  8. Yeah!! Well done Nancy! Nice that you have a long arm quilter that doesn't involve mailing!

  9. I just volunteered to quilt a coupe of QOVs for the group associated with my guild. I don’t know when she plans to get them to me — hopefully soon if she wants them for this month. Have fun binding.
