I always launder the quilts with a color catcher before sending them to the QOV coordinator for distribution.

You're smart to get the binding cut while the quilts are being quilted...that way no excuses when they come back - lol. That's a pretty stack of quilts.
ReplyDeleteYou are very organized!!!
ReplyDeleteLove that binding fabric.
Really gorgeous, and thanks for washing the quilts too!
ReplyDeleteGreat job...
ReplyDeletecolor catcher! Smart woman! THey are all beautiful quilts
ReplyDeleteGreat accomplishment! You are moving like an assembly line!
ReplyDeleteHow nice to have them done and sent in time for some July 4th distribution!
Whoa! I am not a quilter obviously, but I find your techniques for efficiency and quality very interesting.
ReplyDeleteI love doing the binding because it means I'm almost near the end!
ReplyDeleteSuch a satisfying job and you got to do it four times, well done!
ReplyDeleteVery smart idea to have the binding waiting when they come back and also using a color catcher. I probably wouldn’t of thought of either one.
ReplyDeleteBlessings, Betsy
Well done! Have you ever thought about getting a LOng Arm Machine, I bet you would be good at it! :)
ReplyDeleteHow nice!!! Glorious progress!
ReplyDeleteYou are steps ahead of me with the binding made and waiting. Sometimes I have the fabric pulled and waiting with the quilt — but not always. Then I have to scurry to find a) the original fabric or b) any fabric that matches. I should start paying more attention!
ReplyDeleteI love binding. It's my favorite part! Nothing to think about just lots of mindless stitching.
