Lone Star II
Lone Star II 56 x 67 inches Quilt of Valor #144 |
The red gradient fabric was much different than any I've used before - mottled and almost batik-like. I told my niece the fabric looks like a tomato soup factory exploded.
Note: As I stated in an earlier post, two vertical rows were added in order to meet the minimal size requirement for a Quilt of Valor.
Spectacular!!!

ReplyDeleteBeautiful! You did an amazing job of matching up the stripe fabrics.
ReplyDeleteI love the way you have used shades of red to great effect to create the red stripes.
ReplyDeleteThis really turned out beautifully! Not an easy task to make all those HSt's and line it all up-bravo!
ReplyDeleteJust as pretty as the first one! Such a great design.
ReplyDeleteThis one is a wonderful quilt. Just gorgeous. The reds really make the quilt shine. I like the mottled tone on tones.
