I haven't used shampoo or conditioner since I started to use my own soap on my hair. Goodbye itchy dandruff. I must be allergic to something in liquid soaps. They all kill me. It's also nice to not have all the bottles around. Just one bar on a pretty handknit washcloth on the edge of the tub. Simplicity.
I am with you! The shampoo with conditioner does not condition my hair at all and I get SO tired of the same conditioner after going through multiple bottles of shampoo!!
I always use at least two to three bottles of shampoo to one of conditioner. I never thought of using Debra’s soap. I think I’ll try that today. Blessings, Betsy
Fireman says we go through shampoo much faster than conditioned. I just bought purple shampoo to tone down the brassiness of my highlights. I did them myself this weekend. Not too bad a result!
I go through at about the same rate as you. Sometimes, I buy just the small bottle of conditioner and the big bottle of shampoo, and it's a little better. But there's still always some conditioner left. Sometimes I think I should just switch to two-in-one.
Ha! At least two bottles. Right now I'm not even using conditioner. I do rotate my shampoos. On Wednesday each week I use a shampoo that is suppose to clean out the residue of gel and other shampoo gunk. I'm trying like crazy to finish several bottles of shampoo just to get rid of the bottles. Sigh.

I always run out of shampoo first! We probably use too much shampoo each wash....lol
ReplyDeleteLOL. I have no idea! I like to switch all the time, so I have several bottles of shampoo and conditioner going at the same time.

ReplyDeleteI don't use conditioner much .... probably THREE shampoos to one conditioner, maybe more.
ReplyDeleteI like the Head and Shoulders with the conditioner in it in the winter time when the static gets a little crazy with my hair.
I don't use conditioner anymore but when I did it always lasted longer.

When I wore my hair long (down to my waist) I used both at about the same rate. But now that my hair is very short, I don't even use conditioner.
ReplyDeleteSame here! One of life's mysteries, I guess.
ReplyDeleteI think that is normal! I don't use conditioner much any more, my hair doesn't seem to mind:)

ReplyDeleteI'm the opposite. I go through conditioner like a mad woman while a bottle of shampoo lasts for ages.
