Simply Stripes
Simply Stripes baby blanket July 2014 |
I chose colors from my stash that closely match those used in the pattern.
Yarn: Caron Simply Soft
Passion #0012
Sage #9705
Persimmon # 9754
Country Blue # 9710
Sunshine #9755
Pagoda #0014 (not shown)
Needles: size 8
Stitches: 120 (The pattern is written for bulky-weight yarn, so I increased the stitch count.)
I've thought about knitting this pattern before. I like the way the stripes transition to the next block of color.
ReplyDeleteI like the way you moved into the next color....cute.
ReplyDeleteAwww, so cute! I love the effect simple stripes can have.
ReplyDeleteLove Simply Stripes. Crazy about Simply Soft. This blanket is beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI love this one too! The colors look great together, and the transition striping is very attractive!
ReplyDeleteLove the transition striping. So cute.
ReplyDeleteI too love the transition into each color, I'm going to remember that.
ReplyDeleteNeat! I like the transition striping too.
ReplyDeleteVery nice and a bit different which is great!
ReplyDeleteLooks nice. Re the stripes bits and pieces left over from other projects? I seem to have acquired more yarn left overs and I could swear I haven't really made anything for a while!
ReplyDeleteI'll need to add this one to my queue!
