I would have to agree with Wool Winder too. I try to dig them out of the lawn before they bloom...because I think they're pretty yellow blossoms when they do show off all their glory.
It depends on the week. After spending the weekend digging up old landscaping to get ready for new - any plant looks a bit like a weed. But I sure have great memories of making a wish and blowing on those fluffy flowers over the years.

If it's in the lawn, it's a weed. If it's in the field, it's a wish.
ReplyDeleteI think wool winder hit it on the head. We don't see these here in Az. at all.
ReplyDeleteForgive me Nancy, I see a weed. FIreman works so hard on the lawn…he gets upset with dandelions. :)

ReplyDeleteA sneeze. I'm sorry I couldn't resist.
ReplyDeleteDepends on where I am and who's with me. In our yard, a weed, but with the GK in a field, lots and lots of wishes. We used to call the seeds fairies.
ReplyDeleteI have no yard or garden so all I see is wishes!!
ReplyDeleteOkay maybe way in the back of my head I think hayfever.hehe.
I see a challenge. When the fluff blows past we try to catch it with just two fingers!
ReplyDeleteI see hope, fond memories, childhood glee... definitely a wish.
ReplyDeleteGolly so much hate!!! I see a wish, they can pop in my lawn anytime they like.
ReplyDeleteHow funny! I see a foraging of salad leaves and a potential root harvest for a liver tonic!
