Foreign Friday

Tile Roof
Nagasaki, Japan
April 1980

I loved not only the texture of the roof tiles but also how shadows added more visual interest. Most of the tile roofs were on temples and other significant sights.

  1. They just don't build for beauty anymore. I love older architecture.

  2. WOW! What a contrast between this structure and the modern architecture behind it.

  3. Your Japanese photos are always so interesting!

I love comments!
