Decisions, Decisions . . .

fabric slivers trimmed from quilt  blocks
April 2019
I did manage to sneak in some sewing time last week, and finished sewing the Tail Feathers blocks.

blocks trimmed, squared, and ready to sew into a quilt top
April 2019
The blocks were placed on my "design floor," and I played with the placement a bit. My quilt consultants (Marilyn, Brenda, and Sheri) helped me to select a layout. Here were the two choices:
Option "A"
Option "B"
Which layout do you like best?

Comments

  1. I like B. That big red pinwheel is very striking.

  2. I like B also. The red seems to "pop" more in that version.

  3. The pinwheels really jump out at you in the B layout--great job on the piecing on this one!!!!

  4. I agree with the group B pops the most

  5. I like them both but for some reason B looks like it makes more 'sense' to me, if that makes any sense at all!

  6. I like them both. But I kind of liked the red showing up near the top, but didn't think about how the pinwheels looked.

  7. I immediately like B best too. Those pinwheels are beautiful.

  9. Both look great to me! I actually finished a quilt yesterday, can you even believe it?

  10. I like the bottom one with the red pinwheel... And, for those who want the pinwheel in the upper left.... the finished quilt can be turned that way. Yea for making progress on your quilting.

  11. I like A! But either one looks good! :)
