Half a Pair

one finished and one started
March 2019
Saturday evening, I finished one of the Zauberball Crazy socks. As you can see by the beginning of the second sock, it will probably not even come close to matching the first sock. It's the mystery of the striping that makes knitting with Zauberball fun.

Would it bother you to wear mismatched socks?

  1. If I *can* match them, I will, but if not, it's okay with me. Zauberball doesn't lend itself much to matching, but like you, I think that is the fun in it.

  2. I wear mismatched socks all the time. In fact, sometimes I even make them mismatch on purpose!

  3. Mismatched socks don't bother me in the slightest...
However, when Dave wears one of his socks inside out... that drives me batty!

  5. It wouldn't bother me, knowing that they were knitted from the same ball. That reminds me, I really must get my very first pair of socks out and get on with them. Still haven't quite finished them yet, but the, I'm not too sure what I'm doing!

  6. That yarn is very neat. Very rarely do my socks match exactly even if I try.

  7. No no I would not mind. I think they would look really cute. I like to wear my socks with clogs so really all that shows is the heel .

  9. It almost looks like you have pulled the yarn from the other end. We’ve had such a cold winter that I’m wearing my wool socks more often. It Would be to wear those socks.
