Addictive Knitting

closeup of three hanging kitchen towels
March 2019
Once I finished two hanging kitchen towels for Marilyn, I began knitting more towels with my cotton yarn stash, and it seems that I cannot stop. One towel quickly led to five towels, and I'll probably continue knitting the towels and put them in the finished project box for future gifting.

The pattern (Leftover Dishtowel) produces a nicely textured fabric, and it makes for ideal TV knitting and a perfect gift for neighbors, family, or friends.

  1. I swear you can knit six projects before I can finish one slipper LOL

  2. It'll be so nice for you to open up your bin of lovely handmade gifts when a need arises! I need to do this again. My box has been depleted and it's time to fill it up again.

  3. Have added the pattern to my queue because I have so. much. cotton.

  4. I just love those towels. I plan to make some soon. In the last three days I have knitted 15 dish cloths for the church kitchen. I have to admit, I’m getting tired of them so I’ll soon be moving on to something else!

  6. I get that. When I go on a kitchen cotton binge it's never pretty. I'm in a lull at the moment but only because I can't find any colorways I don't already own.

  7. Knitting is not a bad thing to be addicted to, and it's a great idea to have a stash of homemade gifts waiting for the right person.
