Mount Unzen Park
April 1980
In the spring of 1980 a group of Dept of Defense teachers toured Southern Japan. One of our stops was Mount Unzen, an active volcanic area. According to Wikipedia, Mount Unzen erupted from 1990 - 1995.

  5. Did you take that tram? If so, you are Wonder Woman!! I have a BIG problem with heights. The last time I took a tram like that across a wide river they had to send a boat to bring me back. I guess they couldn't just leave me wandering around the woods on the other side of the river.
