sample block |
Marilyn and I are planning another sew-in sometime this summer, so I cut all the pieces necessary from a 1930s reproduction, quilt kit I purchased several years ago. I couldn't resist making a sample block. It's going to be difficult to resist the temptation to work on this before the sew-in. This quilt will not be a Quilt of Valor, as I'm making it for myself.
You're going to have fun with that one! I love those fabrics!
ReplyDeleteIt's going to be a good one!
ReplyDeletePretty! That will definitely be a fun one to do. Will it be quite scrappy with different colored triangles where the gold is?
ReplyDeleteI love this design! I'm looking forward to seeing it finished.
ReplyDeleteEven your design looks summer-y! Enjoy the get together.
