I had originally planned to use green for the final border, but it made the quilt too dark. The green will be used for the binding instead and should tie it all together.

It was fun to sew with colors other than the traditional red, white, and blue. I'm sure a veteran who is an outdoorsman/woman will be drawn to this quilt.
