Autumn Splendor

Autumn Splendor
Quilt of Valor
59 x 69 inches

I was growing weary of making quilts from red, white, and blue fabric, so this Quilt of Valor was made from some 2.5 inch strips (typically called a Jelly Roll) that I had in my stash. The pattern was extremely easy.

Pattern: Stacked Books, design by Carrie Meth - featured in The Giving Quilt book

  1. Very pretty.

I also get bored with working on the same colors for too long. That may be one of the reasons I've almost always working on a couple of things at any one time. That way I can switch around when I'm sick of one color or pattern.

  2. Autumn splendor is right! You say it is easy but it sure looks hard to me.

Aren't jelly rolls great? I love making quilts using them because everything matches and it's so quick.
