Temple Window Bangkok, Thailand December 1979 |
This exterior shot gives you a better idea of how the window filled the temple with a golden light. In hindsight, I should have paid more attention to how I was framing the photograph.

DeleteBeautiful. Isn't it interesting to see how much alike temples are in any religion?
ReplyDeleteI really love glass stained windows, especially the older ones. I often feel that modern stained glass windows don't have quite the same feel or beauty. I had no idea that their temples had stained glass either, how neat!
ReplyDeleteOhhh and ahhhhhh. Stained glass is so enchanting to me
ReplyDeleteA beautiful Photo Nancy!! our darling DIL is from Bangkok and has lovely photos and memories of growing up there. The way she talks about it reminds me of small-town USA.
ReplyDeleteWhat intricate details, both inside and out! Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThat's a beautiful shot, no matter how you framed it...do you think they used real gold leaf for the frame.

PS, I have extra clothes, and emergency supplies in both vehicles...generally we don't go to far away from home right now, but we are well prepared when we do. Thanks for being so concerned, I didn't want you to worry.
