Can You Help?
Do you knit or crochet? Do you want to help some tiny babies?
Kathy at Irisheyes is requesting some "cookie sheet" sized blankets for preemies. Yes, blankets the size of a 9 x 13 inch cookie sheet. Please consider making at least one blanket before the November 1, 2009 deadline. A bonus: Kathy is offering prizes.
Here are the rules:
• Blanket must be made of yarn which is washable. Sorry, Hospital rules.
• It cannot be bigger than a 9 x 13 inch cookie sheet. Smaller is welcome also.
Update: Since I had several people ask about making small quilts, I asked Kathy if they were acceptable. She told me that cookie sheet quilts are definitely welcome. So if you are a quilter, you can also participate in this project.
