Twinkle
Twinkle 62 x 74 inches Quilt of Valor #229 |
Twinkle was made with two charm packs and some backing scraps from previous QOV. The pattern was designed by Tricia Lynn Maloney - Orphan Quilt Designs for Villa Rosa Designs.
I added the blue top and bottom borders to meet the QOV size requirements.
The bottom right block was inadvertently turned when I sewed the row together. I noticed the error when I took the photo. I’m going to leave it as a “design element.”

Beautiful......
ReplyDeleteThat is lovely! It would make a nice, scrappy, leader/ender project!
ReplyDeleteI love the way those stars pop on that background!
ReplyDeleteAnother lovely quilt, I'm rather fond of stars myself.
ReplyDeleteTook me 10 minutes to figure out what you were talking about on that block. Like the small blocks with the red strip material, they look like flags to me.
ReplyDeleteI cannot see the mistake and I looked for a long time:)
ReplyDeleteThat's a lovely quilt. I like the design element. It makes your quilt unique.
ReplyDeleteI really like how this one turned out, and the “design element” really doesn’t look out of place. - Sara
ReplyDeleteThis really looks great and the blue is a very dramatic touch!
ReplyDeleteVery nice! Like others, it took me a little time to see your "design element" - not noticeable to me right off. Love the stars.
