Even though the yarn was knit directly from the sock blank and was kinky, the texture of the finished sock does not reflect it.

Finished socks -- 59 grams

I ordered additional sock blanks and look forward to making more socks that are uniquely mine.
They turned out great Nancy! I can't believe how fast you knit them. Maybe making your own yarn speeds things up? The wanting to see how they turn out...Great job! You could make some fingerless mitts with the left over yarn.
ReplyDeleteI like them. They will brighten a gray winter's day.
ReplyDeleteTurned out beautifully! I really like those colors. And the process was fascinating to me - the non-knitter.
ReplyDeleteBravo!!!! Did you take the time to eat this week?! That was a great inspiration of a project! I am impressed. So will you make fingerless mitts out of the remaining yarn?
ReplyDeleteOh, aren't those fun! I imagine that opening your sock drawer every morning must bring a smile to your face - such a pretty collection from which to choose!
ReplyDeleteI love them!
ReplyDeleteNancy, those are so fun! And you dyed the blank and knitted them up so quickly. I can imagine how excited you are to make more. Well done!
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Betsy
Great Job Nancy! You make me want to try a sock blank pair. But, I'd better finish the socks I'm working on first! And just how long did it take you on these socks?
ReplyDeleteThey look great!
ReplyDeleteThat was quick! And dont they look good, no wonder you are pleased as Punch with them, nice and cozy looking.
ReplyDeleteNancy!!! They are amazing! Bravo!!!!!
ReplyDeleteGood golly!!! That was fast! They turned out just gorgeous. That was a spectacular dye job. So vibrant.
