The sign is a bit ambiguous and probably should simply state:
"No Parking"
"No Parking allowed from here to corner."
Painting the curb red would certainly be cheaper and more effective than the confusing sign.
I agree with you, sign is useless.

ReplyDeleteI thought what Kim thought...don't park on the sidewalk. But, it certainly might NOT mean that, I suppose. Very confusing.
ReplyDeleteReminds me of the time that our HOA tried to pass a rule saying "no vehicles may be parked on your driveway". They meant no boats, trailers, etc... They hadn't considered that a CAR is a vehicle. :::shaking my head:::

Wow....I'd worry about a place where they had to remind people not to park on the sidewalk. Now if they mean the road than wouldn't a simple No Parking sign do?
