Sweet Little Nothing
Sweet Little Nothing October 2016 |
Yes, I'm still knitting: I recently started one of the kits I purchased on my August trip to Denver. Sweet Little Nothing's kit came with two skeins of sock yarn (total of 460 yards), and in the photo, I had just added the second skein.
It's all garter stitch, but the picot edge is added with each row. The cast-off row will also have picot points, but they will contain beads (included in the kit). I like how it looks so far and hope to have it finished before the end of the month.
Will be a pretty one.
ReplyDeleteCan hardly wait to see the Sweet Little Nothing...it does look sweet!!Love he colour...and your yarn holder!!!! I have seen them...but didn't feel I knit enough to get one (I usually knit when we travel:)...
ReplyDeleteLovely start Nancy and beads! I must learn sometime. How elegant
ReplyDeleteYour yarn is so pretty and I am excited to see how it looks finished. It sounds like a nice pattern. Your yarn bowl is lovely as well. I have a wooden one from Hobby Lobby and I was surprised just how much I like it.

That will be gorgeous when it is finished (it really already is gorgeous). Love the yarn colors. I did a picot edge on a shawl and the effect is great!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun project! :)
ReplyDeleteLike some of the others mentioned, the yarn holder caught my eye, too. (Definitely the right tool for the job!)
ReplyDeleteLove that yarn holder. I've been seeing some beaded and knitted projects online and they really intrigue me. Looking forward to seeing the finished product.
ReplyDeleteI love the yarn holder.. the yarn will not go around the house or doesn't travel around the sofa.. which always happens to me when I crochet.. :)
