Old Glory Quilt of Valor 58 x 75 |
Old Glory is the second top made with a patriotic panel from my fabric stash. The border fabrics were pulled from stash to complete the quilt. As with American Hero (posted last week) the final border is a "cheater" fabric.
Old Glory is QOV #103
I really love this one. I have to still finish a jelly roll race quilt I had made and plan to give to an uncle who was a veteran. Seems like so many projects in my plate.
ReplyDeleteI love those "cheater fabrics". They make sewing just a bit asker, don't they?
ReplyDeleteEasier darn auto correct.
ReplyDeleteAnother impressive finish. Love the stars on blue in the border.
ReplyDeleteWith all you do... you need cheaters:)... Lovely!!
ReplyDeletePowerful!! It makes my heart sing!
ReplyDeleteWEll I happen to LOVE the cheater fabric. I love the whole quilt!
ReplyDeleteI love your quilt! Hugs,
ReplyDeleteGreat panel on a lovely quilt. I love anything with eagles.
ReplyDeleteThe panel itself is one of the best ones I've seen lately. Makes a great quilt.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! We have a lot of eagles here, two that nest right behind our trailer at the lake. So majestic as they fly above us. I never get tired of that sight.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Betsy
Beautiful! It made a lovely quilt! :)
ReplyDeleteI like how you are putting these panels to work. I saw one advertised recently and thought of you.
