Celebrating 100
Thanks to the Quilt of Valor Sew-in over the weekend, I have completed #100, which was a kit provided by the local QOV group.

ReplyDeleteWOO HOO! Great accomplishment! I didn't find out about the Sew In until the day before and I had already made plans for the weekend. Maybe I'll get to go to the next one. It looks like you all had fun!
ReplyDeleteI love the way your two hats came together as different patterns from the same yarn. Not being a knitter....That always fascinates me that you don't get them same thing all the time.
Congratulations! That is an amazing number of QOV quilts. What a blessing for the program to have people like you working on quilts. Will you be setting a new goal?

Now that's something to celebrate! 100 servicemen and women have now been honored with a beautiful quilt due to the work of your hands. Well done!

ReplyDeleteOh Nancy! I am beyond happy for this huge accomplishment. I was able to be sure Larry Our friend got a quilt of valor because of YOU!!!!! Your devotion to this amazing charity is wonderful. I think of you whenever I see a quilt. I saw one at our hospital today and took its photo for you.
