Sixteen-Patch Blocks

Sixteen-patch blocks

The first two days at the mountain cabin, I worked on the sixteen-patch blocks. By the time I reached the bottom of the bin, I had completed 79 sixteen-patch blocks with only a lonely four-patch left for seed.

Project number one was completed.

  1. Oh no! You've left one for seed. You know that bin will start to multiply again quickly! Great job to make that many 16 patch blocks. That's a LOT of sewing.

  3. Nancy Cabins and quilts? What could be better? I love how they look. I dont think I'd ever sew because everything must be so geometric and even and very carefully done. I so admire those of you who sew

  4. I thought my sewing machine gets a real workout, but yours beats any sewing I've done lately. And I've done a lot! What would we do without work horse sewing machines? The blocks look wonderful!

  5. I have made quite a few 16 patch blocks in recent times. One of my favourite ways of using up pre cut squares from our harvesting.
